Traffic police inspectors stopped a car sharing car in the north of St. Petersburg. There were five men in the car, and two live sheep were found in the trunk.
Traffic cops spotted the car on Parachute Street in the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg. They stopped the car for inspection. It turned out that the passengers in the car were citizens of Uzbekistan, while only two had permission to stay in the country, the rest, as it turned out, were in Russia illegally. Two live sheep were found in the trunk. It is not specified whether there were documents for the animals.
Everyone was taken to the department — the driver and passengers, and the animals were also brought there. Protocols were drawn up against the migrants for violating the legislation of the Russian Federation.
A few hours later, a decision was made not to initiate a criminal case, and the animals were handed over to the owner. At the same time, representatives of carsharing reminded about the fine of 20 thousand rubles for transporting animals and promised to issue an invoice, the public report notes.
