Prices in St. Petersburg hotels jumped by 30%

According to the statistics service, hotel prices in the city increased by 28,1% compared to April figures. At the same time, air travel has risen in price by 26,2%, and excursions in the city on the Neva — by 12,8%.

It is noted that prices began to rise in January of this year. According to Petrostat estimates, the average cost of living in hotels in St. Petersburg in January-April this year increased by 17% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 5,200 rubles. In three-star hotels, prices jumped by 20,2%, in four-star hotels by 16,7%, and in five-star hotels by 12,4%.

Also in St. Petersburg in May, the cost of the minimum set of food products increased to 7,058.44 rubles. per month, which is 1,5% higher than in April 2024.
